Kick off SING! Edmonton’s 2026 A Cappella Festival with an electrifying opening-night concert featuring the acclaimed vocalist Micah Barnes.
Spend the night with local talent and one of the legendary founding members of The Nylons, listening to the band’s iconic repertoire live on the SING! stage.
The Music of the Nylons promises an unforgettable evening of tight harmonies, timeless arrangements, storytelling, and vocal mastery as Micah brings the music that helped define a cappella music not only in Canada, but across the world.

THE SING!ALONG WORKSHOPS & DAY CHOIR
SATURDAY MARCH 14 | STARTS AT 9:30AM
Come be a choir nerd for a day!
The SING!Along is a full-day workshop and day choir event, followed by a community choir showcase in the evening. Get to know fellow choir community members, and welcome new ones, by learning a choral arrangement as a group. Plus, SING!Along with performances by community choirs between workshops.
We will learn from body-mind-breath-voice guru David Wilson on how to sing as part of a group, as well as from acclaimed vocalist Micah Barnes of The Nylons about how to connect with your audience and have fun while performing.
To cap off the day, we will put our new skills to work by performing THE SONG we learned, together!
Be sure to stick around and SING!Along at the Community Showcase in the evening!

There’s nothing quite like a vibrant night of Edmonton’s homegrown vocal talent!
Join us for our Saturday night concert, as we bring together local a cappella groups for one unforgettable evening of harmony, creativity, and connection.
Check out the talents of Etown Vocal Music Society’s latest addition – Etown Extended; followed by the tight harmonies of Red Deer’s From The Top.
This year’s concert will also feature a performance by the SING! Edmonton Day Choir — a group of singers who learned, rehearsed, and performed their piece. (Sounds fun? Join us!)
So, whether you’re a choir member, a long-time fan, or brand new to a cappella, this is the night for all where our community takes center stage.
